aawww man i was sooo pumped ....totaly down for the next one ....and yes much higher please .....
 
then we'll have to go to monterey to go higher. but that gets expensive, i'd rather jump twice for the same price at Lodi. I think. So when do "we" want to fall again? say a month or 2?
 
hahah i'm up for this weekend again ...hahah but ya i agree Mortifer cheaper is better for now .....

Plus i'll be flying down to Mazatlan for the weekend ..so need the money for the partying ....
 
aaww man you need to talk to Mark ...he's got some killer videos of guys getting all crazy on that free fall stuff .... Send him a PM he's got the whole scoop on it ....

Ya i'm doing the tandem for a bit then i plan on doing it solo soon

Kiltwearinfool - AFF (accelerated free fall) is cool. That is how you get your licence to fly. 7 jumps total for around $1300.00. Taking a tadum to start is cheaper and you get to do a whole lot more on your first jump. But to each his own. I did 2 tadums to start but that was to get control of myself. I run on 12 cylinders with a 6 cyclinder motor at all times so I wanted to be a little calmer. Those that jumped with me over the weekend with me know what I'm talking about. If you want more info just get a hold of me.

Looks like you guys had fun... reminds me of my "jumping out of a perfectly good plane" experience.

My dad was and avid (perhaps rabid) skydiver. I've been meaning to pick up where he left off by doing the accelerated freefall course and then taking his chute out for some fun.

Maybe I'll join you guys next time. :teeth
 
Oh yeah - how high were you guys? Mine was at 10,000 feet with my dad flying in formation w/ me and my tandem. Pretty damn insane experience... especially the initial upside down part where you can see the plane "falling" away from you. The inital yank of the drogue chute wasn't much, but HOLY CRAP.. when the main opened up I thought for sure I was going to be sterile!!

Thats damn funny!! I believe as Mark said we were at 13,000, good for about 60 seconds of freefall, and 3-5 minutes of chute time.
So your in, sweeeeeeeeeet. cant wait to fall again
