Drop your board off at my place in either SF or SJ and I will hot iron wax your snowboard in an hour for $7, which is basically the price of a cheapo belt wax. I will not use base cleaners unless you request it because it dries out the base every time it is used. I will also do hot scrapes for $12 if you would like.

Storage waxes are also $7, don' let your base dry. I will wax it and leave it unscraped. Bring it back whenever you need it for a scrape.

Base repairs start at $15, depending on how badly it is damaged.

I can also pick up and drop off anywhere near 101 or 280 from SF to SJ for an extra $5. Thats still less than half off of what stores are charging and it doesn't even cover my gas. If you have your own wax you prefer, I will do it for $5. PM me for more info.

Iv got a shop style BURTON edge tunning device if anybody needs there edges too.. BTW, $5 hot wax hardly covers the price of wax!! BUMP for a great offer!

This is an amazing offer. You riders / skiers should definitely take advantage of it. I hot wax my friend's gear all the time because it's sort of meditative, but for strangers I'd never charge such a low price to do it...

Ray has done a great job on my boards! :thumbup Cool guy and great offer!

Thanks for the bumps, will continue to wax throughout the year.

If you have a new board, you should get it waxed before your first session as well. Factory wax will be gone before the 1st day on the slopes ends.

I will also do storage waxing, Ill give you a receipt and you can bring it back next season to be scraped. Protect your base over the summer.

How often should a board get waxed? I got a new board, had it hot iron waxed before using it for the first time, and I've used it twice now (2 days worth of riding). Might be going up again on Saturday.

Just whenever you notice a difference. If you cant feel a difference, scrape the board a little with your nail about 2-3 inches from the edge, if you dont get any wax flaking off, it is probably be a good idea to wax. I will post pictures of a waxed and unwaxed board tomorrow afternoon.

This board is a good example, its harder to see on other base colors. The white areas are where the base is starting to dry out. If you continue to ride like this, wax won't want to stick to the board unless you scrape a thin layer of the base off. Ill post the results along with a few other unwaxed boards in a few days. Thanks Glenn for allowing me to post pictures of your boards.

No problem man. Thanks for working on the boards for me.

That board pictured..man I kept telling my friend to get his gf's board waxed so she could learn quicker, yet he insisted she learn on that. I told him its like trying to learn to ride a bike with flat tires...
