***************SOLD**************

I have a 1993 Ducati M900 for sale. It is red and in good shape. I am the third owner of the bike with clear, non salvaged title in hand.

The bike comes with a fender eliminator, Small wind screen and Arrow exhaust and Suburban Machinery handle bars (very nice bars). Yes this bike sounds like a Ducati.

I have just had the following done:

Valves checked
New Bridgestone tires
New Chain and Sprockets
Full service including inspection
All work done by Evolution Suspension in San Jose.

Bike now runs like new.

Price is OBO, but will not except low ballers or tire kickers. Pictures to come.

Bike is sold AS IS.

EDIT:

Should add this is the very first year of the M900. Kinda cool. I am selling it because I am looking for a more comfortable bike for me and my girl friend.

How many miles on it? Do you know if the engine has been rebuilt? Or if it's the original motor?

Original engine. Still runs like new. Will get exact mileage tonight (it is very low, like sub 20's if I remember right) and pics.

Do ya mind me asking if it sat for a long while or something? I know photos hide a lot, and you say as-is, but that bike looks great for it's age! (That's a compliment. :))

I can PM you this and further questions if you'd prefer.

I ride it once a month or so. My neighbor never rode it, LOL. I got into dirt biking again, so I have not really done a lot of street riding in some time.

The bike is not perfect, hence the price. Kind of cool that this monster was the first year of the M900s! WOOO HOO. No 944 kit though like yours :twofinger

If you recall, I had to do the kit because I grenaded my motor. Trust me, I'd rather not have done that and would have been content with 44 cc's less. :laughing

niicee!

any particular reason you're letting this go for cheap?

I'm highly tempted to get this as a daily-axe to use.

PM sent. This appears to be what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to control myself!

My first Ducati!
:ride

Congratulations! I'm both sad and glad you saw it before me!

Congrats, that is a classic first year M900 with the Cagiva Elephant on Gas tank cap and wheels.

Yeah, I hated to give it up, but I needed the space and I have no time for restore projects.

Congrats, JimE. You can find the local monster group here --- http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=19.0

There's an SF meet the last thurs of the month at Zeitgeist (you can come watch DH drink 'found' beer -- it's pretty gross, and by gross, I mean rad), and a South Bay meet the second thurs of the month.
