Hello BARF, I’m selling my 2016 Zero FXS 6.5 Electric Motorcycle. Asking $7250 OBRO.

It's it excellent condition, with only ~2800 miles on it. Bike is still under warranty through June 2018, the powerpack battery is under warranty through 2021 or 50k miles.

No issues or accidents, clean title in hand. I have both keys, the USB drive, and all the original paperwork. Bike has a custom plate (Legacy 60's black yellow - "ZERO 1"), buyer's choice if they want it.

This bike is a lot of fun. Instant torque, it averages about 70 miles mixed mode riding. 44 hp equivalent with 70 ft-lb torque. Charges on a standard 110V household outlet (about 7 hours to charge from 10% to 100%).

Additional details on the 2016 Zero FXS located here:
http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/zero-fxs/2016/

Enhancements include:
  • Official Zero Handguards by Cycra ($170)
  • Official Zero RAM Mount ($70)

Test rode one of these it is a fun little bike!

@HadesOmega - I agree with you, they are fun little bikes!
@motoproponent - I'm looking to sell the Zero as I don't ride it very much. 2800miles in 2 years...lol. I need to reduce the stable. Not looking at trades for now, but I am negotiable with the price.

Let me know.

Cheers,

-Sean

TTT - Negotiable with the price. This is a very unique moto, would like to see it go to a good owner who will ride it!

I wish I didn't live in an apartment. Would love to own one of these. Maybe some day...

I'm not sure if it is this year model but I remember the earlier FX bikes you could remove the batteries and charge them off the bike. Makes a good theft detterent also since you can't start the bike up.

Yes, the battery packs are removable. And they are heavy.
An "external" charger runs just under $2000 (unless they have come down).

With the "Y" cable you can use it in conjunction with the onboard charger to half the charge times. It does require 2 15A circuits in your charging location.
(i.e. you can't plug them both into the same outlet as most are 15A limited/protected)

Cool bikes.

Thanks m0t0_ryder - Yes, confirmed that this model does have the removable battery packs. And yes, they are the heaviest portion of the bike!

I have the FX (in full dirt trim) and absolutely love it. Such a different riding experience than an ICE bike. Stealth FTW! :party
