So tempting...

Don't do it, cootz. If you do, I can pretty much guarantee that you'll buy it. Those things are fun.

It looks fun. Small displacement = HUGE fun.

This would be grand fun to take on a winter trip out into the California desert, or down into Baja...

It's silly that this is still for sale. You guys know what the cheapest dually is? It's going to be $1500 and you're going to put $500+ into it and it will never be as tight as something that has less than 4k miles. Buy this, be happy, ride trouble free.

Word. If it doesn't sell, though, I can just keep it and ride it when my foot is healed up. Hmmm...

Is this too much bike for some one with no experience on Dirt whatsoever ( unless you count riding few feet in my tiny backyard on a yz125 that I recently bought from here, Charlotte's bike)

Any idea if this will be okay on a Sumo trackday with street tires.

I am in the market for a small 4 stroke. Need to sell 1 or 2 of my ninja 250 first.

For strict dirt riding, a teeny bike like the yz125 is ideal--do a few weekends at Hollister on it and then try something a little bigger. This one is ideal if you want to move from, say, street riding to doing weekend bike camping trips or fire/gravel road riding, with some trails and mellow singletrack mixed in. The DR is geared low, with a 6-speed gearbox, and has 11.4" of clearance, so plenty dirt capable, but it is 310 lbs.

Can't comment on the sumo trackday, but the front is a 21" and the rear wheel is an 18-incher.

Yayyyyyy! Good move to whoever the Aerostich guy is.

Thank god, this sold so I don't have to to keep visiting this thread in temptation.
Lucky new owner will have some good times I'm sure.
