Somebody uses Cognos software?

I am trying to find any user guide that takes a newbie user through the ropes and shows them how to write their own queries. Not much available on the Intarnet either on the latest Cognos software

Oh god, don't get me started.

We threw out all of our recent Cognos crap once we finally moved off that platform (Also, I'd like to give a big FUCK YOU shout-out to Actuate), I found an older 6.6 CD though.

Nah I will have our IT guy write up the queries. But he makes a lot of mistakes that I have to correct and have him rewrite the queries. I just wanted to do it once and do it right.
