Sometimes you're the bat in life. Other times, the ball.

awesome writeup, dude!

btw...didja end up helping out the old lady or what?

Hey Eric sorry about the weekend... great write up though. I stopped by to say hello but at the time you were deep in conversation with Alex. I was unaware that you had just crashed but I could tell you were not doing well, so I just said a quick hello and left.

Good luck in the next round and hope you figure out the gremlins.

Great write up as always GoGo.....Sometimes new bikes have these huge challenges....you've got the talent and drive to make your program work, i know it. Once all these little "differences" work themselves out you'll be proving a lot of people wrong....

I'm routing for ya!

Siggy

What "route" would that be Chris.............straight through the gap in the tire wall at nine? :teeth

Just josh'in ya. I know you meant root'in. On that note, so glad to have you back as well. Although, I was so hoping to see you on a RC8 along with GOGO. That would be quite a show to see you guys on comparable bikes going head to head. Maybe next year, eh? Kudos to Berto for granting you the weapon to get back in the FP fight. Really looking forward to following your progress.

Thanks.....i'm no english major that's for sure!! ;) GoGo has got a huge fan base and i'm one of them! Man that would've been cool to have us both on RC8's.....

Thanks Siggy. And also thanks for helping Derek dial in the fuel injection on Friday night.

I've never been part of the process of developing a bike. When I ran inlines I only knew how to make bikes handle worse, so instead I'd just hold on for dear life. Then on the Ducatis it became common practice to call someone overseas. Always there was a special magnesium part made specifically for this, or a titanium doo-hickey you bolted on top of that.

But now there's no one to call... And believe me, we are only a few short answers shy of making this Superduke work like a champion. So I took the bike to Jerry Piazzas on Friday to get some hard data on where we are. It was a very telling experience. Turns out we are all on the same page even though "we" got there the old fashioned way. Seat of the pants feel, Phil responding to good feedback, and everyone trying to fit the Superduke R into those parameters. Jerry's numbers confirm our feelings - we need more trail, we need to cut back on the steep rake, and we need more swingarm angle. I filmed the whole thing. It's boring as hell but pretty educational. If anyone's curious I'll put it up.

GoGo, usually I don't grill anyone on spelling but his name is spelled Gerry Piazza with a "G" (like GoGo!). His business is called GP Frame and Wheel, so I think it's important to spell his name correctly. Otherwise people will start looking for JP Frame and Wheel, and they'll get some financial company....

The video is pretty educational if you're a tweaker about bike setup like me, you should put up a link.

that is SUCH a telling shot. :thumbup :thumbup

OK I'm on it. It's in the cooker now. Probably be up by 9pm tonight (Sunday). It's twenty minutes long and pretty educational, if you can bare the boredom and dreadful lack of nudity. I really have to work on getting that aspect back into our program.. :boobies

OK boys and girls let's take a ride on Mr. Trolly over to Gerry Piazza's GP Frame & Wheel, where today we hope to learn just what in the name of shit is wrong with our KTM Superduke R.
