Sons of Anarchy season III thread

Jax will surely be less motivated now that he knows that is boy is alive, and finds out the guy that took him has been dealt with.

Less motivated, how? I see it the other way since Jax knows his son is alive. Sure the kidnapper has been dealt with, but this means that the Irish are holding out for some reason. Either way Jax wants his son and hasn't gotten proper retribution for the kidnapping in the first place.

All the way since SoA first aired I've been wondering why Jax is so obsessed with Tara. She's a weak willed ghost of a woman. Just another confused, insecure, boring white girl.

Somebody please explain.

I can only suspect that he has always had a fascination with Tara or perhaps an unfinished fling both being before Ep1 S1 premire. If you recall Gemma's initial animosity toward Tara when she first returned to Charming.

Just watched this for the first time.

There's some good stuff and some funny stuff (not always intentionally). Things like the baby oil line and the murdering priest are things that will get this on the DVR rotation! I mean, who thinks up that sh*t?

But seriously, those bikes are the STOCKEST choppers I've ever seen. And the leathers all look like they've just been ironed. Like they're a gang of OCD clean freaks or something.

Titties.

But seriously, somewhere in the first season I think they have a long conversation about the past. They dated all through HS, she left suddenly, Jax was heartbroken. He tells her every girl he's banged between HS and her coming back, he's always thought about her.

I guess that doesn't really answer your question, but in keeping in the spirit of the sink: First loves... how do they work?

Ok, so at this point, I am really hoping the show / story-line doesn't just amount to going back to being a fight with the Mayans. I think the story-line got deeper than that, and they don't shallow-it-up, if that makes any sense.

SAMCRO has definitely been on the decline since the beginning of season 2. If they don't get back on top there won't be any members left alive by the end of season 3.

in the first episode, did Tigs shove his pen0r in the dead burnt bodies and why he was worried about DNA..??? :wtf

his character always has me cracking up..

Got the first episode of the new season but missed last week.

Anyone willing to post cliff notes of what happened last Tuesday before tonights airing?

Thanks..........

Jax spent a night in jail. Told Tara to go away.

Tara said FU, and then packed her shit.

Gema met her dad, and tig laid the maid

Irish got Jax's son, and choked the bitch out that kidnapped him

Mayans are moving into Lodi, like anyone really lives there

Puppet chapter of insert-random-club-here laid the hit on the funeral as token to the mayans for a patch over

Mayans want to move heroin through charming

unser is sheriff still until another can be selected. Hale's brother wants to be mayor hella bad

Jax wheres white shoes, not boots

No, he screwed them before they died and since the bodies were not completely burnt (I think they died from the heat of being in that room) there was a possibility that they would find his dna in them and trace the warehouse back to samcro.

Last night's episode was interesting because dammit, Hal Holbrook can still act and it set up the dichotomy of what happens when real stage actors are mixed with mostly extras. My helmet is off to him, he is really OLD but he still is sharp.

And Stephen King was frickin' hilarious. OMG. The fact that this show is drawing big names makes it somehow more credible, even if it remains a preposterous soap opera.

It was worth watching last night, but the credibility meter is into negative double digits with the Northern Ireland thing. I mean, I know that the real HA has chapters in foreign countries, but the producers are dangling this little possibility of seeing our American anti-heroes assault on Belfast...Will they bring their hogs or borrow some???:laughing

Jax can't really be that attached to Abel, can he? I mean, he was separated from Wendy while she was pregnant, the kid was in the hospital for 2 months or so. He's only 8 months old, that's barely any time at all. [/sarcasm]

If Tara just tells Jax she's pregnant*, he can start again with the new kid, the club doesn't have to spend all that money that they apparently don't have on airfare and/or favors to get to Ireland, they don't have to jump bail and they can stay in Charming and handle their shit.

*My speculation on why Tara is woozy/puking in the last couple episodes.
