** SPOILERS!** Random Motorcycle thoughts unworthy of a new thread

Imagine if you will, a highway that bisects California's Central Valley, Hwy 99 is the name.
I imagine twilight time would be the buggiest,

Could be starving bats, a thing too?
waste all their food for a video ?

Congrats to Dallas on the repeat Championship. Nice to see Yamaha on top again.

Story

Kody Kopp had a good rookie season with 3 wins.
Tom Drane jumped into the big boy class after repeating his Single Championship and showed well.

And Briar had some bad luck, but sure did give it 100% in '26.
Next year should have more guys at the front trying to knock Dallas off his perch.

Nice to see Yamaha on top again.

“The Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 (often designated the MT-07 DT or FT) is a purpose-built dirt track competition motorcycle developed jointly by Yamaha Motor Corporation USA and [Palhegyi Design] (bikeexif.com) to compete in the premier AFT SuperTwins class of the [American Flat Track] (https://www.americanflattrack.com/) series. Utilizing a heavily modified, production-based 689cc CP2 parallel-twin engine housed in a custom lightweight chromoly trellis frame, the machine transformed modern dirt-track racing by breaking a decades-long win drought for Yamaha twins and evolving into a dominant championship-winning platform guided by star riders like Dallas Daniels.”

Went to pickup a used bike for sale. Was going good until noticed some left side damage, then some more. The bike had been down but not disclosed.

The tip of the kickstand was slightly ground down = more than a tip over.

That's never a good sign...although my center stand on my GS is the first part to drag when I'm having fun leaning over in the corners...but if the fairings also have rash, then yes that's a bummer :( or discount!

FWIW, faring rash/ pipe rash can come from track riding...in our area, the one place I've dragged these parts several times on a street bike are T8 at Thill. The Carousel is possible at Sonoma, but not common. Left side of the bike on both of those corners.

There was also a plastic part that was touched up with black paint.

What i was looking at was a "fixed" bike that still had some damage. Typical contact parts were replaced, they missed a couple, that's all.
