Sports bike ergos are dumb and KTM makes SAVAGE machines.

You have to be a retard to ride an enduro on the street with their skinny little tires, lawnmower engine and a single brake rotor with a tiny caliper. There is no way you'd be able to spank sportbiles in the twisties with their 150hp, sticky race rubber and massive monoblock brembos.

Agreed. Ktms are unreliable bikes for girly men. Sportbikes are what people should be riding.

Well, they aren't cheap to buy or maintain.

But, I've got a friend whose sister rides for KTM. I just gotta figure out how I can get the hook up.

Pmuch even if you are being sarcastic. i love to ride my DRZ on street tires, but its very limited compared to a nice liter bike. its not even really a comparison lol.

i think i'd rather hop on a street triple to get the hooligan feel, still have 100hp, freeway capability and stopping power.

Until you get on the highway, which you most likely have to take to get to awesomer roads...

You definitely can't ride them on a 728 mile day of open road, but i bet there are some jackasses out there who have tried. A 700lb sport tourer with a electronically actuated recliner seat with a custom taint cup from the 450 pg. accessory catalog is the only proper tool for that job.

I tend to agree :D Its also nice to be able to see over the top of SUVs. A little windscreen and supermoto gearing helps on the freeway and a new seat is a must unless you have buns of steel. I need not mention how much fun it is in the hills :ride

P.S. If you buy one new ask the dealer to throw in the SMC wheels, Tri Valley gave them to me for cost ($600 at the time).

That rules.

This just proves that Karbon is getting old, creaky and cranky. :twofinger

It's his birthday, so he can be cranky if he wants to :party
