~SRX 600 Racer "one off" opportunity

With that chassis, you could put a less modern motor in it, and still have enough fun to make a heroin addiction seem like a vague wish, etc, etc. ;)

Nice thought..... I liken that bike to a TZ, where a little bit of power goes a long way. 50 horsepower would be a thrill ride in this case; 75 is a wedding.

We'd be willing to sell the chassis...and stick the motor into a sick street thumper.

Any interest out there..put your 450 motor in this and have some fun.

Make an offer.

Looks like an asskiller to me.

.......... That's what she said

Wonder if my old XT600 motor would drop right in...

IIRC, the SRX/XT/TT kickstart (and possibly the electric start) engines are all bolt-in exchangeable. Different sidecovers, transmissions ratios, some other stuff, but mostly interchangeable.

Now, whether a stock XT head and carbs+pod will fit a chassis designed for a downdraft modified head, another question entirely...

anything is possible...and if you don't believe that, then your a communist. This whole bike was a dream of ours...it's nearly done but all the next generation Singles are running 450's...

The big alteration on this bike was to customize the NSR250 tank to accommodate the downdraft carbs...probably loads of room for stock carbs.

I'd really, really, really like to buy this, but I already have multiple non-running 'projects' in the storage unit. :sad

Hi,
Not already sold??????
One of the nicest single I've ever seen. would be awesome under European skies.....

Did not sell it...I have to admit that I didn't try hard. Allot of new singles racebikes are going with a smaller motor..the Yamaha motor that we built should provide massive amounts of power but is heavier than the 450cc dirt bike motors of today. I may take the motor and put it in a street project and sell the chassis separately.

She is a beauty...nothing like her.

It's beautiful.. nice work.. can't afford a $5k chassis.. :-(
