Stark Varg

Jokerio here on barf has one that he bought in California, and another buddy that I ride with just bought one 3 weeks ago here too.

:):dunno

The bikes at the shops are demo models they're not allowed to sell them. You have to get on the wait list to you get one or somehow acquire one second hand. I have yet to see a shop do a demo day though, only place you can ride em is at OHV places.

Totally want to try one out but I don't have the money to buy one I would rather get an Ultra Bee or a used Redshift EX/MX can't use all that power off road anyway. Now for supermoto that's another question, a 80HP supermoto will fly.

Been a minute since I've been on BARF. Just had a Stark Delivered to my house last week. Excited to ride it at Hollister, but there appears to be a problem with my bluetooth module. SV is shipping me a new one right now. I can ride it, just don't have access to modes or battery level on the SV phone. Then I got covid. Maybe next week I'll get out to HH. Around the neighborhood it's super fun. I got the left mounted rear hand brake also. I'm a e-mountain biker, so I think I'll love it. Also have a KTM 300, 500, and 890, so this will be nice to add to the quiver. It will be nice to be distracted and not thinking about 890 cams turning into mush on my new 890. No cams! No valves! No TPI CCPS failure! Just friggen Bluetooth issues!!!

Turns out I just needed to do a reset on the SV and phone to get them to communicate. Still haven't ridden it at Hollister yet, maybe this weekend. Also, the registration process has been real slow. SV uses Ekhodealer to handle the paperwork. I talked to them earlier this week and they are a bit backed up with all of the orders. Once they submit to the DMV, it could take another 40 days! I called Hollister and they are allowing SV bikes to enter without registration stickers. Just show any kind of documentation saying it's yours. I said I had an invoice that shows my name linked to the VIN and they said that would be good enough.

Well I finally got to ride one! It's definitely nice.

I love mine. Until the stark my bike of choice has always been a 250/300cc 2 stroke (have had several). Still have a Beta 300rr race edition but to be honest I don't ever ride it anymore. I like the motor and egos of the stark so much. I think if it had a good ice motor in it I'd still like riding it as I agree with the with chassis of that bike a lot. I want to ride a new Honda 450 and see if maybe the last 2 decades on European 2 strokes I've been missing a feel that has been there all along.

What are the chances to get one of these street legal here in CA so you can ride it around town?

I have ran into this guy at HH and he is local to my area his is street legal i guess
