Steering oscillation - cause and solution?

I seem to remember reading in another post from you that you have a large container or some form of luggage on your bike. Is this the case?
 
It is (24 gal Action Packer mounted to rear seat / grab bar). However, it was not on the bike at the time.
 
check your tire pressures low pressure will make your tires folllow
contours of the road surface more than properly inflated tires do.
check you tires for excess wear badly worn tires will sometimes have a mind of their own.
