No clue on the actual temperature, but definitely got hot. Nothing too ridiculous to handle, and rolling around in the water quickly fixed that problem

About 100' on Saturday and Sunday in camp
cooler in the mountains

Great weekend, thanks for organizing Butch! Fun times were had on and off the bikes. Enjoyed meeting new folks and catching up with old friends, Heat wasnt an issue up top and we over came it down low at the swimming hole. As much fun or more than the riding. Hills were climbed, bad jokes told, short short purple boxers modeled, fires jumped, chili shared, cliff diving exhibited, Joey Mac impersonated, campground trials ridden, and Jaeger consumed. :laughing Cant wait for the next one this fall. :thumbup :ride

I hear there is video of Freds aborted log crossing and many more pics to share. This one really sums up the good times.

Fun times again although the heat made mid-day rides a real effort. Had great time riding with Fred and Tom, good sweeping single track with limited stops; aside from hitting my nuts on the tank at that one puddle/hole that showed up out of nowhere....
Poked around on the trials bikes on Saturday morning with Undertheoaks; found some good rocks and a great stream spot then the sun really started coming out. Got to do a nice dual sport loop with Donna around the whole basin (M5 around to M10 and down) and got to watch Lucy rail a couple of berms in the Nail Tack area. I swear if there weren't a bunch of hills around we would've had a hard time getting her to turn around! She just wanted to keep heading out.

Good to meet some new folks and catch up with old ones; when we were leaving it felt like we just got there (always a sign of good times).

Got the 550 just about dialed in carb wise; that bike is just lovely. GG 300 rode really well with the Showa front end and I finally got to do some single track with the 500 exc, that bike is pretty nice all around.

Ferris, thanks for the pita/chicken platter, we ended up munching the leftovers last night with some Kamut and veggies and it was excellent! Hope you find the issue with the 350 Rebecca, seemed like it might be a minor one (at least I sure hope it is).

Thanks again for setting it up Butch/CJ, see you at the next one for sure.

Where is the vid of CJ jumping the fire?

Sounds like great times were had. Sad we could not make it. Anxiously awaiting the fall trip.

You’re most welcome, the fact that you made awesome chili for everyone is plain amazing.

What do you guys think about Sept 20 for StonyBARF 12?

I collected enough money for Stony10.5 to make donations to CORVA and the AMA, but if anyone didn't get a chance to pay me and they wanted to donate $20.63 to BARF that would be cool.

Sorry to miss it.

Well, sorry to miss the company, but not this part:

About 100' on Saturday and Sunday in camp
cooler in the mountains

Is it even safe to ride a dirt bike in 100*? I think I would keel over.

Ah, the trails up by Lett's Lake at 4000 feet were in the 70's while we were up there. Then the waterhole...

:thumbup Yep. It was very pleasant up the Mtn on the trails. Then hit the swimming hole. Anyone get pics of of any of the back flips into the hole? Some of them were pretty impressive from the higher rocks. Michael and Rob's come to mind.

Good times, fun seeing everyone! Thanks to Luke and Donna for letting Jo hang out with your girls, she loved it! :thumbup Donna, sorry for the confusion Sunday morning, hope we see you on the next ride and we'll make up for it :teeth Nice backflip Michael!

Fun weekend! It was great to meet some new folks, see the usual folks & ride with you all. The chili that Luke brought was wonderful. Temps were not bad, above the the campground. T38 is a tougher climb compared to years ago. T6 & T4 are still fun. I wish to have ridden the trails bike more. The girls did a great job on the course.
I have only dog pics -
