Stoppin by, Sayin HI

Welcome! Sounds like you're already miles ahead of most riders around here.

I'm sure most of BARF's advertising trackday companies are stellar. I personally recommend Zoom Zoom from my own experiences, as well as Thunderhill for the track. I've only used one other trackday company, and I've only ridden buttonwillow and thunderhill though.

For your trials bike, you have Hollister a little bit south which is an excellent state park. I'm not too familiar with trials, but you may like to throw up a thread in our dirt forums to see if any lurkers may respond?

... I'm thinkin about tryin out pacific track time for the provider. I have been to deals gap tons of times so I'm mostly comfortable on backroads. I'm very impressed with the awareness and preparedness of a lot of riders I have seen so far. Back home there's tons of fools wheeling down 95 all day. Thanks for the info guys!

Pacific Track Time is a great trackday provider, and it's the one my friends and I have the most fun at. They are the few (besides maybe Track Bluc) that lets you ride after a crash (YMMV I've never crashed at any trackdays so this is based on what I hear and see at riders meetings and post crash situations), and their C group passing rules are more relaxed (same as B- Keigwins which is safer according to Keigwins and IMO).

PTT also doesn't require water wetter so your bike prep is just removing mirrors and disconnect lighting fuses (takes < 5min). Registration and tech is very fast (I think it took < 2 minutes for me last time). In addition to all that, they are ususlly the CHEAPEST trackday provider too!! Awesome for them keeping prices down so we can ride more.

As for more responsible bay area riders compared to FL. Hahaha, you've obviously not been to highway 9 during the weekends enough times :)

Thanks for the help guys. Yea there were no real fun places (except backwoods) to have unlimted trials fun, so I just stuck to terrorizing the tourists in the sand. But yea since it's always nice in MIA, I always ran water wetter anyway. (btw, what's with this freakin weather??nice one day cold the next??

Yea I checked out the kitchen sink section. Not really my style. I'm more into riding and talkin about motorcycles on a motorcycle forum. I'm goin to order a set of track plastics from shark skinz next paycheck. I already have an extra tank. I have a toy hauler for the bike and to sleep in (can u camp out at the track??) I also have a gas gas 250 trials bike that I like to ride. Any places nearby that would be fun and legal to ride??
