He had the big Russkie shatter 'em so he could fold his feet flat enough to slip the shackle off.
I thought he was gonna aim for the chain itself, but no, he's supposedly walking around with lower extremities made out of jello...and even had the guard yank on it a few times to verify it was still locked on.
I do like the way Murray talked himself into whooping Yuri's ass with karate.
"I beat a 16 year old kid, who is really good at karate...I could beat Yuri!!" And then did it.![]()
And yeah no way in hell you're limping around more or less good to go with a smashed ankle, let alone jumping down from stuff, jumping up to the roof, jumping off the bag, etc.The guards were stormtrooper rejects not even the Empire found useful.
(sorry, not trying to get political).
So shockedHeads up to anyone who hasn't watched the final episode: Once the major event transpires there is ZERO reason to watch the remaining 40 minutes. It is nothing but a video montage of feels. No plot advancement what-so-ever.
Cut to the last five minutes to watch the utterly shocking teaser for season 5. So, so shocked.
Spoiler:
I felt like Hopper in Russia was just a plot point so that he wouldn't come to the rescue of the kids. Did him battling the demi gorgons there have any impact whatsoever on the kids abilities to fight Vecna at all?
Still waiting for 1 to be like, "who's Vecna?"![]()
Wait, are we pretending he can't get inside people's minds?
The very people who call him Vecna?

Season 4 takes place in 1986?
I had it in my head that S4 took place in spring of 85, but you're right, it is 86. Even still, the NES didn't have it's nationwide US release until September of 86. Chicago was a test market as early as Feb of 86, but that's a stretch for folks to start using that phrase so casually.

They were cutting it real close with Master of Puppets. I had to fact check that after Eddie's super duper tubular demon bat trailer guitar performance.
I thought it was an anachronism at first.![]()
