Stunting is all about Wheelies, stoppies, and burnout/slides right?
I've been to three "stunt shows" and that's all they did, for an hour and a half each show. After the first five minutes it's boring as fuck.

I'm not hating, I just want to be sure I'm not missing something.

The only stunt that matters is wheelie-ing across the finish line :teeth

You will see some trill-as-hell stunting if you happen to go to the right show, with the right performers. In my experience, the shows with riders that bust tricks that WOW you one after another, for the entirety of the whole show are few and far between.

You can only see so many variants of high chairs, spreaders and flamingos until you work up a yawn or start thinking, "pfffft, gimmie the time and equipment I can do that too".

The scooter stunn'er shows are even better

I view stunting as being like baseball. Fun to play but boring to watch.

I think the best thing I've seen is the 180* endo to a wheelie to another 180* endo with the rear wheel landing on the wall and holding it

that would have been a better troll if there were more stunnas in the house that would take offense. The "trick pony" reference is vaguely insulting, and "boring as fuck" is sure to raise a couple hackles, but overall that was some uninspired twatting.

Up until this post, this thread is probably a list of the barfers that couldn't wheelie a liter bike if Oprah was on the back, amirite?

Looks like I've seen a couple of Pullen shows that weren't boring atall. Watching that dood roast a high-chair right past your face is hair raising... but then again, I can wheelie well enough to appreciate what I'm not even going to try. :twofinger

+1 except for Kane One. That guy is madness. I will admit that I still will try to show up if there is a show that's local. Yes, my life is that boring.

I think the bike they're stunting on is just as important as rider skill when it comes to making a show "fun" to watch or not - venue is another item that can help make or break a show - hink Jason Pullen on his Sportster, and a day long show on city streets, like the Hooligans StreetBike Fest, compared to yet another hasty half-hour B-list lunch show promo at your corner CycleGap. One can be an afternoon of great fun, the other a between-free-hotogs diversion...

IMO, dollar for dollar, observed trials is a better show. But trials isn't typically as portable as streetbike stunting, and the competitions are far less publicized unless you're already involved with trials riding or freestyle motocross. I have seen some wicked "urban" trials exhibitions involving cars and existing structures, but it's not common to find a property owner (or jurisdiction) willing to let you climb their building, bridge, or statue(s) with a dirtbike...

-Q!

Chris Pfeiffer is boring.

(rolls eyes and shoots self)

Now, in whiny lame voice to piss of barfers:

"Racing is boring: All the do is turn right, and then turn left."

The scooter stunn'er shows are even better.
Running over your face with your own scooter is a stunt? :wtf

I had fun watching Jason Pullen. Very controlled in a very limited space. And he does a couple of different stunts.

LOL of course you get those sensitive, average type, forum stunters that get all pissy when you tell em what they do gets boring, fast.

AWWWWWW hurt you feewings.

Thats the best part of truly riding for yourself, when it matters, you don't give a shit what other people think.

HAHAHA, and then you have the above average, mutant hybrids that can wheelie, stoppie and drift with style, and can also smoke your instructor at the track day. :party

Not to mention run faster, jump higher, outfight, outfuck, and out-twit your average limpdick stunna hater. :thumbup

There is only one stunt I've seen that really wowed me. I saw it a few years back and I still have no clue how he did it. The guy bunny hopped his bike over some one laying on the ground.

Karbone, you're sounding a little bit uptight.

caaaan't wheelie?
