CANCELED-Sunday 11/21 Thunderhill-

The event is canceled.

The majority of preregistered riders are from Nevada and would have to contend with up to 72" of snow over the Sierra's. In an attempt to avoid making the sequel of 'The Donner Party' we are canceling the event and issuing 100% refunds

The toss up was. . . "Do we provide a great experience for our friends, or do we risk their safety." hmmm.
Not a tough call. . . we went with the FULL refund option

We'll always do our best to look out for our riders, regardless of the expense.

A few of my friends have birthdays in late november, so we're renting out Thunderhill for a private day...
. . .So before the season fully winds down
who is interested in a trackday at Thunderhill on November 21st?
Come ride with us and maybe 30-40 friends.
Because we have different rider abilities we're thinking of modifying a two group format.
The faster folks can ride both sessions if they take it down a notch or two to accommodate the less experienced. We are looking at a small limited group on the track so sign up early to guarantee a spot -

$225

pm me, or email me and we'll get you signed up through paypal.

This one is a private day to celebrate the birthdays of some friends. Good times. Next year, we're going to run events out of RFR.

with 30-40 friends, which I'm assuming are guaranteed riders, what's your total rider cut off? A bit pricey, but it's a weekend and it's a loose open trackday. I won't find out later in the month as I got my bike in the shop for some mods, but definitely interested...

50 riders is the limit.
One way to insure a great day is to reduce congestion.
The original group of friends is just 15, so there's still plenty of room.

just a reminder:

Are you gonna have video service on this day, Joe?

ForTheTrack is our tire/tire service vendor on the 21st.
They'll set you up with Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone, and Dunlop track & race rubber.

just talked to kev... we're way too swamped with stuff we already have to do. the ONLY way we could film you is if you didn't mind waiting for the final product for a few months. :teeth

I edited the post to reflect the change in tire vendor.

ForTheTrack will be there with Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone, and Michelin's along with trackday items such as brake pads, chains & sprockets, lap timers, fluids (oil, water wetter, brake fluid, etc.), knee pucks, etc.
We're psyched to have Craig as our 'Trackside & Sportbike Performance Specialist'

yea, that would be fine. I'll let you know as soon as I know if I can make this day :)

So looking forward to this one. Going to be a great time with some old and new friends. Woot!!

I'm working on getting our website together enough so people can sign up for this non-profit, 'open trackday.'

Good news. . . Because we've got enough early commitments we've decided to keep the pricing at $225

Send a pm or an email. We can send invoices via paypal to get you on the list, and with just 50 spots, probably a good idea to get on that pretty soon.

looking to ride up there with someone who has one space for a bike. can chip in for gas etc. pm if you need a passenger!
