SOLD !!! No longer for sale is my 1985 Honda XL80S.
It is street legal with 2,781 original miles. Yes, that is correct mileage with an average of less than 100 miles per year for its 30 year life. It is currently registered as non-op.

I've owned this bike for almost 20 years. My Uncle owned it before me.
Comes with the original books, tools, original CA smog canister/tubing, accessory passenger pegs, and 6 volt Battery Tender with quick connect installed on bike.

Starts first kick every time and runs like a champ.
Modifications:
1. Lindemann resprung/valved forks. It was pretty soft and squishy for a adult sized rider before I had it done.
2. Dyno tuned by Mike Norman of G Force which raised the stock horsepower from 4 rwhp to 5 rwhp, a 25% increase. Oh yes I did put it on a dyno.
3. Battery Tender connector installed.
4. That's it. The rest is all original
The Good:
You won't find a better condition bike like this anywhere unless its in a bike museum. Legendary Honda reliability. Perfect play bike, pit bike, run around bike. Last time I checked I was getting 71 miles per gallon, and that's with a fat guy riding full throttle.
The Bad: There is minor corrosion in some areas as well as some rock chips and wear on the frame/ lower portions of the bike. The helmet lock is not working. It used to work fine, but I can't figure out why its not working now.

The bike is tons of fun. It will do approximately 45 mph with a full sized adult sitting upright, 50 mph in a tuck, and 60 mph in a tuck on a long slight downhill. Although this bike has been extremely well cared for and always stored in a garage or shed it is not perfect, but if you want to restore it to like new condition you won't find a better example to start with.
$1,950.00
