I'm selling my 2013 GSXR 1000. Selling price is $5,500.

It only has 1860 miles on it. I bought it with a Salvage title. I redid it and did get it titled and safety checked. Title and plates are current.

The past month it was recently serviced for all fluids by Midnight Mechanix.

Overall the bike is in great condition and ready to ride in the street or on the track (not race prepped). Starts great cold/hot. Always garaged.

I did use it for about 7 track days. I did put on aftermarket fairings, replaced levers, put on race foot controls, etc. It has Perili Super Corsas with plenty of life left. GB Race covers. Battery less than 6 months old.

This bike runs strong and fast. 182 hp. Three power maps in case you need them.

Pics show minor issues. Small ding on tank repaired with epoxy steel, small scratch on exhaust, small repair on rear seat.

High def pics in my dropbox.

in order to access the photos I have to allow dropbox access to my contacts. Forget it.

Put them in the "Photos" folder in dropbox, in a folder called GSXR or something like that. The right click the GSXR folder and click "Share" , and get the link from that box and post it here.

Working on the photos.

The title says "Salvage". It means the bike was totaled by the insurance company. It needed new fairing, headlight, and foot controls. All this was done and has been ridden numerous times since then.

On the title... If you have a bike that is totaled by the insurance company, you have to do a bunch of work on it. You have to get it totally road worthy and bring it for inspection at the CHP and DMV. They check it over in detail and issue a "Salvage" title. If you don't do all of these steps, the bike is not able to be titled at all.

Ah ok so it's just salvage title. Your wording had me confused as to what "redoing" the title meant. AFAIK once a title is anything but clean, it can never be returned to clean. If you knew of a way, that's what I was interested in!

Familiar with the salvage titling, and how much of a PITA it is... recently went through the same thing with my bike.

It can be returned to clean by a licensed broker.

Only way I know of returning a "bike" to clean title is by buying a clean title frame and swapping everything over. Once a VIN is branded it's branded for life...

The process y'all are talking about is converting a title from salvage certificate (red title) to salvage title (looks normal just says salvaged in the box). That can then be registered and operated on the road again. Insurance issues the salvage cert and bike needs to be fixed to get the title, it'll always be a salvage title though.

The only other way is if the DMV makes a mistake when issuing a new title for an out of state salvage title bike that is entering California, and issues a clean California title by mistake. Happens.

Any pic updates?

Here are some more pics.

They are a few of the bike. They are also some of me at a class last weekend in Stockton on it.

(I know, I'm not Moto GP guy, no crap about body position, etc).
