I have FCR's with the single pull cable on my SV and have been having a hell of a time getting the carbs sync'd correctly.
I pulled the throttle cable off of the bike to take a closer look at it. If I lay the cable out straight, pushing and pulling the throttle end moves both cables the same amount. If I bend the rear (longer) cable 90 deg, like I have it installed on the bike, the rear cable is slow to move. So with the rear cable bent 90 deg, the front cable end moves about 1/4" before the rear cable. It does this in both directions. I assume this has to do with play between the rear cable and the housing in the bend.
So how do I get this fixed? It looks like the rear cable is too long to route it with any bends for the FCR carb. I thought maybe a new cable would fix it but noticed the same problem on my spare push cable.
