Easy peasy. I greased the shaft last time I was in there so I'm sure that helped.
What exactly gets stuck to what? Is it the shaft corroding to the cases? (Not the actual cases but the bushing-like inserts that the shaft rides in.)
Yes, shaft to bushings. Or shaft corodes and rusts in between bushings making removal nearly impossible. Plenty of stories with sawzalls and or bench presses involved. Even swingarms sacrificed when no amount of heat, oil penetration, or pressure from bench press could break them loose.
