Ohhh, I forgot to mention I had lunch with the guy selling that XSR900 yesterday. I was thinking about buying it. Turns out it's a 2018 bought new in 20 registered in Bangkok. Not a 2020 registered here like I thought. Just under 10k km on it. At 150k/$4600 I thought it was a great deal on a 2020. Now, a 2018 needing to spend a couple hundred dollars to change the plate/registration location it's still probably a fair deal but not a F-it, it's such a good deal I'll just buy it even though I don't need it deal. I was just thinking buy a XSR/MT09 cheap, keep for a year and try the triple and sell for break even (probably break even minus tires).

I don't know why I think the TP load is so funny but I always take a pic. TP was on sale and I like to replace everything I use in the room before leaving so I stock up on TP, shampoo, toothpaste, etc before flying home. I just like getting back to a room that's ready to go. I also do any bike work I might need before leaving (oil change or whatever).

Went down to Satthip and had lunch on the water. I heard their is a place with good food over the water. I think I found it, this place had great food. It must have been the place I heard about??

Made a wrong turn and went down a gravel road between the cows.

Friday ride canceled due to rain so I went and got an oil change. About 2500b($75usd). Filter, 4L Honda full synthetic, adjusted and oiled chain, inspect bike, check tire pressure, etc. That's big money here but not bad.

Got totally soaked on the ride home.

I took a pic of Honda's pricing ( divide by 33 for USD price). Prices are the same for my 1000. The weird thing is these prices are NEVER right, they always give me 10% off. Like a returning customer thing.

Went the opposite direction today up to the 3 lakes area (that's what I call it anyway, there are 3 lakes). Roads just kinda twist around the shoreline but there are a lot of trucks in the area. So there were a lot of potholes and sand on the road. Was OK, about 180k. I kinda slipped on the sand in a corner once.

Tried a cool new coffee shop. Was a couple old buses.
