Bring out your vintage bikes and have a ton of fun

Sunday Class A Trial

Functioning SPARK ARRESTERS are required on ALL BIKES

Trials in NorCal Boreal Ridge

This is the first of the two "high points" of the 2014 season.
Boreal, at the crest of Hwy 80 in the Sierras.
Go to the west end of the Boreal parking lot.
Pits are near the Auburn Ski Club Training Center.
The next high point is at Bear Valley in September.
Both are above 6000 feet, hence the high point designation.

Aug 16th & 17th.
Saturday 10AM Kids Trial before the Vintage Beginner event.
Bring your kids & their OSETs, 50s, whatever.
It is a great introduction to trials. Nothing too scary for the kids.

Vintage Beginner event on Saturday the 16th.
Signups at 11AM, Riders meeting at Noon, Trial starts at 12:15
Five lines 4,3,2,1 & 0. Something for everyone.
8 fun sections, around a two mile loop.

A fun Rodeo event is planned for Saturday after the VB trial.
Expect to start around 4 to 4:30.

Class A Trial on Sunday the 17th.
Signups at 9AM, Riders meeting at 10AM, Trial starts at 10:15
A more challenging event. Suggest 2 line rider and above if you have only ridden VB so far.

Weather should be fantastic, in the 70s.
Boreal is a fantastic venue, lots of easy trails to get to sections,
so spectators can hike to most sections.

Come on out and join the fun. Checkers are needed on both days.
Checking is a great way to learn more about trials. Lunch provided for checkers.

Farewell

To all y'all who I had the pleasure to ride with: it's been an epic adventure but journeys always comes to an end, so I'll be making my final farewell.

I'll be presenting at the Doc Wong ADV Survival clinic this Wednesday 8/13.
