nah. I just don't take my sports enthusiasm to "violence" level. that's fucking retarded. :rolleyes I grew up with the Niners in the 80's. still a fan even though they're appalling. they're still not as bad as Dennis Erickson or Singletary, that's for sure.

the last game I went to was 2010. Bears at the 'stick. I was embarrassed as a human being for the way Niner fans were treating Bears fans. I have zero interest in returning to a live pro football game

I enjoy watching the sport. I enjoy rooting for the home team. i'm not so vitriolic that I can't root for the alternate home team. it's like when I root for whatever team is playing the Pats, except for Seattle. maybe i'm just pragmatic. maybe I just care to watch non-awful football with a non-fantasy rooting interest :laughing

and no, I would never wear the stupid split team hat. just... no.... :green the only football gear in my closet is red

I wasn't suggesting you would be violent, but using the prevailing violence between those fans bases as an example of enmity. The cholos in my family have always made one thing clear, Fuck all L.A. teams, because they are Surenos, but nothing is worse than a mother fucking Raider. That seems to me to be the prevailing sentiment between most old school Niner fans. I assume it is similar to the Jets/Giants hatred and the growing one between the Redskins/Ravens.

Team Sports is about tribal warfare, and when you put two warring tribes in a shared geography...
 
take both the Saints and the Panthers out the beignet fryer...they're done. i feel bad for kuechly. IMO there is no football position that rivals the palpable love linebackers have for the game. I could feel his heart breaking.

Because Kaep delivered another very good game vs a quality opponent like the Pats.

Fukkin A, the Dolphins pulled out another nailbiter with yet another late comeback for their fifth win in a row, even with three starting o-lineman missing (and giving up four sacks ugh). Only one game behind the Chiefs, oh hay thanks Tampa Bay. :teeth
