The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

I get a little angry when I see teammates not standing up for each other, especially someone like Sproles who plays his heart out, and always has.

Last year when that POS Pac-man Jones started slamming Amari Cooper's helmet into the turf every fucking Raider on the field should've been beating his aging ass into the dirt. :party

Agreed. There was a dust up after the hit but I wanted to see some in play vengeance on the field.

Anybody have anything to say about the punt return hit on Sproles? I'm pissed someone In Green didn't take Everett's head off on the next play.

Definitely unnecessary but a football play, albeit a foul. I thought the play where the Tennessee WR going at Talib's legs was more chicken shit.

It was Denver DB Harris, not Talib, but Talib got in it because it a cheap shot on his teammate. I'm sure Douglas will get a suspension for something so blatant.

Yeah that was worse. Total chicken shit move. The hit on Sproles wasn't too dirty, it just merited pay back in my book. If it were hockey you would send in your best goon to pound the guy after a move like that.

Oh yes. I saw Talib fighting and assumed it was him.

Went to the niner game yesterday...
why in the world would you do that (unless you've just never been to levi's)?

i turned down free tickets to the patriots game, something i never would have done if they were still at candlestick. went to levi's once for the falcons game last year (free tickets). wasn't particularly impressed, no soul whatsoever. i've seen it referred to as an office park, think that's a fair assessment.

Yes but I have lived out west long enough to grow a heart.
in other words, you'd only throw D batteries at him now instead of car batteries. :p

We went with friends. I had been to Levis before but for another event. Honestly, it was a good time with friends. Going in and not expecting much was key.

Glad we got to see two good touchdowns. Carlos had a decent day, Ward had a decent game. It was fun

Tannehill does not have torn knee ligaments, only sprained.

Whew. GOLF CLAP

Went to the niner game yesterday...

Highlights:
- Banner flying above stadium "JED YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW #FIREBAALKE"
- Fans wearing brown bags on head after game, with ANTI JED/BAALKE pictures on the back
- First two touchdowns happened right in front of us. Was a great time

Lows:
- Phil Dawson missed 2 FG that should have gone in no problem, no wind on either one. Weird
- Kaepernick. Seeing him in person really shows his skill level, lack of progression reads and some indecisiveness.
- Play calling was :wtf

agree with all of the above

so for all the trash i talked about live games i did some work on Fri/Sat for someone and they literally handed me two tix plus a parking pass.

i figured it'd be a lightly attended game (it was maybe 50%?) so i said eff it, i'll go :laughing ended up having some good convo with a couple Jets fans an a Niner fan with ihs two kids

i actually like the stadium design :thumbup i don't get the hate for it although i can see how on a sunny day it'd be straight intolerable :x bathrooms were ample, walking was pretty easy...

concession pricing was appalling but that's not unique to the Niners so whatever. i ate some In n Out omw in and sipped some whiskey from a secret pouch :party

oh, and i was in section 203 which won the section lottery for scratchers tickets from la boulanger haha

Now there is a Harbaugh to Rams rumor floating around. I would love to see that, Harbaugh vs Carol twice a year in the NFC West again. :thumbup

Oh dear, God. Cowgirls/Raiders is a legit Superbowl threat and Hardiggity is about to come back and Coach Jared Goff now that the Rams are back in Los Angeles?

In your wildest of dreams 5 years ago, you could not have predicted this scale of a Niner Apocalypse. No one would have believed it. It is beyond belief.

:laughing

It would be fun to see Harbs roll into Santa Clara for a divisional game all come at me bro

I'd be surprised.

Michigan is his alma mater and his "dream job" where he's got complete control and players cycle out every 4 years anyway.

Going back to the NFL won't gain him anything. Hell his first recruiting class is barely getting going at Michigan.

oh jesus the rumor was started by Colin Cowherd?

move along nothing to see here.
