The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

yea i know it was his first game in whatever, but the guy looks broken.

Was that the first string O-line in there protecting Kaep? Look at this busted play and/or missed assignments. Run for your life, Kaep. :(

From what I saw Kaep was causing himself undue pressure from poor pocket awareness. He was fucking it up himself. He just isn't cut out for a team sport. He should have stuck with baseball. At least as a pitcher you don't really have to coordinate your play with that of the other players. And the extent you do is largely controlled by the catcher. He plays football like he has to do everything by himself with absolutely zero trust in those around him. And he just isn't good enough for that. Maybe when he was in HS or college...not the NFL.

Romo has a broken bone in his back, he's out til mid-season. Time for the Cowboys' rookie QB to shine...

Go 9ers

wow

I have a friend that worked on a 9ers house and he said he ran across Kap and other la doing hookers and blow. I lost respect for him on that one.

I guess others are losing respect for him now. :laughing

pretty sure the only drugs Kaep took were the ones that made his biceps bigger.

anyway, Mark Sanchez didn't play a down for the Broncos. They save 4.5M and a draft pick if he doesn't make the team.

Wonder if Elway comes back to ask about Kaep again

oh please god yes....

or Dallas.... do they have Kap room?
(see what I did there? :laughing)

Dallas is on the Dak Prescott hype train. They'll just sign a cheap vet backup.

I was talking more the balance of what I saw. Not that single play.

Kaep had the same yardage as Gabbert, neither one looked sharp. At least Kaep has a good reason after not playing since last November, while Gabbert can't use that excuse. Going to be a tough choice for Kelly.

Other than the poor pass blocking from the offensive line, the real issue is the scary concussion of Carlos Hyde...that dude is a solid runner.

Coach Harbaugh of the Ravens is calling for reduced preseason games, he's tired of all these injuries in meaningless games:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...-harbaugh-wants-changes-to-preseason-schedule

How many preseason games does he want? NONE

If I had my choice, I'd go none. That might be an extreme point, but we could run scrimmages, or we could run practices against other teams and figure it out. We'd all be in the same boat. That's for people higher up than me to decide.

Not likely. They needed a body in camp after Thad Lewis tore up his knee. Pretty sure the 3 QBs on roster will be Gabbert, Kaep, and Driskel, unless Driskel goes to the PS and they keep Ponder.

Bosa is a Charger...

A critical development in closing the cap between the two sides was a switch of the agent who led Bosa's negotiations, sources said.

:laughing

Bosa's agent was a noob buffoon, he had never handled a high draft pick before. His first attempt at swimming in the deep end of the pool was a disaster.

Switch to an experienced agent...who agreed to exactly the same extremely fair offer the Chargers had already made awhile back. :mad
