The Walking Dead Season 6

Highly doubtful. I don't like the idea that they're gonna pull some barely believable deus ex machina crap to save him & Rick. But Glenn is like Willow in Buffy. Even though it's not "his" story, if you take him out, what's left just isn't as meaningful. I'm glad he's not dead, and I will forgive whatever bullshit they concoct to save him.

Glen is dead

He zombie food now

Theyre not gonna be able to concoct a rescue. Either he is dead or the death scene was a daydream by nicholas.

That entire scene was dumb. Glenn at this stage allowing himself to be cornered when there was a zombie free fence to climb to his left. Stupid scene is stupid.

weren't there zombies on the other side of the fence too?

The gate behind the dumpster, not the fence to the left.

Really, what I don't understand is how no one bothered to scout out this town beforehand, build a safe spot for people to hide for a day or so, or even leave a spare vehicle.

A rooftop accessible only by ladder would be sufficient to hide from zombies for a day or so, before help can come by. Stick a few supplies and a tent, and you have a party.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I was just yelling jump to the other fucking fence! Maybe there's a cliff there or something like that.

So is it just me, or did Rick make no attempt to close the door of the RV as the walkers were approaching? Seems like his only choice is going to be to shoot out the windshield and climb up onto the roof of the thing...

Not just you, it seemed like the RV was totally open and Rick was just like, well fuck. Guess this is it.

Maggie is... not a very good actor.

I agree, she's a terrible actor. Lucky for her, she's a much better actress. :teeth

:laughing

Isn't it strange that we do everything in miles, except our recreational races, which are done in km?

it is. even working in the lab, where everything is milligrams and milliliters. but ask for directions and we'll be like "yeah, it's about xxx miles away."

I'm guessing the shorter races, like 5 and 10k's, sound longer when you report it in kms. but all the rage around seems to be putting '13.1' or '26.2' stickers on their cars. weird.

Finally caught up... I dunno what to think about Glenn, he definitely looked more grossed out versus in pain.... sigh who knows

rick still has time to close the doors/windows on the rv and sit it out... but that wont happen. he will either climb onto the roof or make a run for it somehow

or it just randomly starts up at the last second... also why is it that RV's are always crapping out hahha. Remember the RV from season 1

There are lots of scenes like that, that don't make sense, can be frustrating at times. It's the TV Land technique of moving the plot along in illogical ways. Like anytime a zombie comes out of nowhere and attacks someone I'm like "oh, you can't hear or see that groaning shuffling zombie that's moving slower than a 90-year-old grandpa?"

Did you and I watch the same show? Nicholas did scout out the town he was just an idiot and led them the wrong way...several times.

As for leaving behind supplies, are you supposed to do that for every conceivable place you might have a problem? Seems pretty unlikely, and not to mention there are others who scavenge too. Free supplies or a hint there might be a larger camp nearby.

I am pissed I haven't seen one manual transmission in this whole series. Somebody should have popped a freaking clutch by now. :laughing

glenn is dead replaced by william hung in next episode

Speaking of unrealistic (since we're on this topic), anyone else notice the scene when Daryl was on the moto talking to Rick on the walkie while holding the handle bar with one hand (throttle hand), the bike was making a "blipping" sound.

Thought to myself, if I did that while in gear my front end would kick up and throw me off the bike. :rofl

I was also thinking a couple weeks ago, wouldn't the walkers also smell like rotting flesh? Sure, it's TV and you can't really convey that sense to the audience, but I would think you'd have a second or two warning. Have the character inhale deeply through the nose, then their head is on a swivel until they spot one/a herd.

.

How many Wolves are still out there? Carol killed between 5 and 10, Morgan 1, and Rick 5. Would they send a "small" raiding party to a target like Alexandria? I would think a group/cult like what I know so far about the Wolves wouldn't be much larger than 50 total before it started becoming unmanageable in the scarce resources WD universe.

I think it was fairly well established in the shots that the dumpster was backed up to a chain link fence with zombies coming at them from the side they were on and the other side. Otherwise, I swear I saw an outside fire escape they could have used to escape instead of getting penned in at the chain link fence.

See my shitty ass diagram below. z = zombies, # = chain link fence, XX = Nick & Glen on top of the dumpster, Y = the fire escape I was thinking of.

* map not to scale, lulz.

zzzzzzz zzz zzzzzz z

W | z zzzz zzz | W

Nicholas got his party killed there. I know he is not going back willingly.

Rick and his crew could have prepared something.

Really, if the plan was to escort the zombie horde on foot, you might have a backup of a nearby escape vehicle....

I'm pretty sure that, in this case, it might have had to do with Rick spraying the AK through the RV's side. Who knows what he put a bullet through...fuel line, for example, or fuel pump.

The RV would not start, long before he sprayed bullets through the wall.
