The Walking Dead Season 7

Not a great episode tonight, but one factual error: snipers do not stick the barrel out of a window since it is easily detectable. Given the Saviors' paranoia with metal covered zombies as guards, you'd think they would be concerned about being sniped from a nearby building.

I find whenever jesus is in a scene, the acting quality plummets. it felt like I was watching a soap opera for much of the show.

it was good to get a bit of background on rosita though

Garbage waste of time. I am just going to watch the rest of this season next when its finished

that's how i've felt about the entire season. The only thing that keeps me watching is that its scheduled for sunday nights when I'm at home winding down anyways

Totally predictable. When I realized the big battle was scheduled halfway thru the episode I knew the only twist was betrayal by the garbage people. Then I realized why would you trust them? They haven't done anything to prove their loyalty. And I knew Sasha is going to be on the new Star Trek show.

And I still don't care about the Saviors.

Super lame episode and season.
If I have to hear another Neegan monologue along with his silly body language and cadenceit won't be long enough. They made Rick into a an idiot leader. The whole Rick Michon relationship has also transformed michon to just another silly survivor. She used to be badass

I should have seen the junkyard gang betrayal from a mile away. I did predict zombie Sasha though :laughing

This season vvvv

Agreed. She can handle 8 walkers without breaking a sweat, but one heapster swells her eye shut and almost chokes her out? Please.

Fuck this show everyone want some laughs watch this weird anime called one punch man, its super popular on yhe most watch/popular listings right now on netflix

Damn the heapsters and their sudden but inevitable betrayal!

They let a lot of people get away, with a lot of weaponry. They're worse off than they were last week.

The show is dragging. I wish the writers had brought on a military historian, made a much more compelling season about ingenuity and cunning.

I'm in the minority. I actually really liked the finale. Looking forward to the next season.

It's a zombie show, you can't expect award winning writing, acting and such.

I disagree with you there. There is a lot of excellent television being produced. Most folks watch, or watched, TWD and Breaking Bad and Mad Men because of story. There's plenty of zombie themed entertainment out there for people who just want to see brains being eaten and brain stems destroyed.

Figh on this season. It was lame. The whole Sasha and Rosita angle was way too cheesy and they drew it out far too long.

"I loved him so I'm going to get revenge for him!"

"Well I loved him first, so I'm going to avenge him!"

"Oh yeah, well he chose ME after already having you, so he would want ME to avenge him!"

:rolleyes Gimme a freakin break

I honestly didn't see the garbage people betraying them like that coming. I guess I should have.

We'll probably get excited for season 8 as it approaches, but it isn't Game of Thrones level end-of-season blues over here.

What's with the group of ladies? You'd think a group of women being stuck with each other day in and day out would NEVER lost the ability to speak properly. Practice makes perfect, right?

The writing on the show has fallen off. I really like the comic story and some of the changes for the show are just silly.

The garbage people annoy me to no end. The stupid broken english and silly clothing just piss me off. Even in the comic I thought the kingdom was kind of cheesy. They do a better job of explaining Ezekial's front though.

The garbage people were pointless. I didnt give a flying fuck about them so the betrayal was just whatever, I saw that kind of coming. Rick had about zero reasons to trust them so it is stupid that he did. Plus like I already said he had no reason to believe they would even be useful. They said they weren't fighters, so how do you know it is even worth it? Just for numbers?

Someone mentioned that the garbage people and their leader specifically is someone from later in the comics. That may be the case, but it will be somewhat weird if they do that. It sort of makes sense, but then it also doesn't. I have a feeling though that they are trying to find new stories to fill time on the show. So we may be getting some back story on this particular character the comic doesn't have. I am not sure I like it, and they will need to step the writing WAY up to pull it off.

Next season will either put a fork in this series or it will become something different again. After the All Out War arc, the story changes in a pretty significant way. If they make the entire next season All Out War then it will be shitty, but the storyline after would be strange in the middle of a season. I am not sure what they are going to do, but the series gets increasingly more character driven. So if they don't start making that writing better it is going to be a sure fire failure.
