me said:April Fools or not, once in 6th grade a friend of mine passed a letter to me during class that said "I want to kill Mrs. XXXXXXX". It was innocent enough, and was just her way of saying how horrible this math class was (it was pretty bad). I drew a fairly realistic drawing of the teacher on the same piece of paper, and passed it back to my friend to cheer her up. Well, we got busted and the teacher took the paper away.
I don't even think we got a phone call home. We had to apologize, and that was about it. I can't even begin to imagine now what would have happened if it was during current hyper-sensitive school violence times. Granted, she probably wouldn't have written that today, but still.
That reminds me of the Kramer and the Karate Kids episode on Seinfeld.
