Thoughts on the Dangers of Riding?

I watched a guy in a topless Miata, yesterday rolling thru town.
Had the bucket hat, but too hot to be fun, baking in that tub.
I relived that moment of my life, 58 MGA or the 64 XKE,
and thinking about a Miata, , ,
Damn glad I have two bikes, in the breeze.

My Miata has no a/c so in hot weather I drive around with the top up but the rear window unzipped.

Works very well until it starts to get over 90 degrees.

Riding is dangerous, I'll never try to tell somebody it isn't, especially before you develop the skills to get you out of situations created by yourself or somebody else.

It takes years to develop the skills to reduce your risks down to where you can be confident that your odds of a bad accident are low, but you can never let your guard down and forget to always be alert for threats and to rein in your own desires to go faster.
