Thunderhill Eric Arnold Benefit Sep 27

+1 on that, I've done a LOT of trackdays over the years and none of them can match the good vibes feeling at today's benefit trackday. We were all there to enjoy a sunny trackday but there was a more important motive for the whole deal, and everyone seemed aware of that both on and off the track. :thumbup

+1 not one thing could be said negative about the day, was awesome all the way around.... even got some old friends to come out that hadnt been to the track in a while, was killer... felt priveleged just to be a part of it...

Great day! Met some new people, got to dice it up with friends and unknown, for now, riders. The giveaway bags were a great idea. I didn't win anything, but I was happy being there and to have participated. :thumbup

The best part of it was Lance's last PA announcement at the end of the day. :party

I had a great day as well walking around the pits :thumbup

Awesome Day. Haven't ridden on track since January and this was just the reason i needed to go have some fun. Its always a good thing when we get to have fun for a good cause.

This was really cool of Lance and Linda to do. Basicly they worked for free today to support a good friend. It was also very cool to see Shawn Reilly (Zoom2), and Michael Earnest (Pacific Track Time) show up to a Keigwins day and pay to ride & support a fellow racer.

what can I say except WOW- what an incredible day!
after spending the past 15 months providing Rider Support to my husband and up to 75 of his closest friends at track days, it was my turn to play.

I cannot compliment Keigwins@TheTrack enough for the professionalism and courtesy of their staff, their efforts at making a newb not only welcome but empowered, and the above and beyond dedication of the instructors.

start of day my excited level was a 3 and my nervous level was a ten.
by the end of my last session, my nerves were down to a 2 and excitement was off the charts

Simon walked me through it all, ever step of the way, all day. suggesting a two up ride to show me what I needed to do and how to get there was so helpful!!! I met my goals for the day, and I couldn't have done it without him and the wonderful experience with K@TT!

thank you all so much- we WILL be back!

I didn't hear it, what did he say?

He congratulated the riders for showing good form with very few crashes, and again thanked everyone for coming out to assist... then gave a rundown on the $$ totals.

Loud applause ensued.
Great to see you eddy, even if you're not as bitchin without the locks :laughing

Yesterday was an absolutely fantastic event! :applause I'm proud to have contributed to the cause. Keigwins ROCKS! :thumbup

Yesterday was top notch - I want to echo all that was said above. So glad to have participated and contributed. I continue to be amazed at such a wonderful community, great to have found it. Shout out to the new friends and again many thanks to Vince for getting me up there!

What a great day!

Eric Arnold is a good friend of mine and, as he sometimes points out, it was me that got him into track days and racing. I thought this track day was a great gesture on Lance's and Linda's part so I knew that I was going to buy a spot even though I have no bike. Lance said that if I wanted to ride that he would lend me a bike. I had not been on a bike since I retired at the end of the 2003 AFM season. So I was a bit apprehensive about my first ride in 6 years being a track day.

It was great to see so many old friends and to make some new ones. Lance and Linda run the best track days and they did a great job of making the day about supporting Eric. I wish Eric could have been there to experience all the love and respect for him first hand. But I am sure he will hear all about from his friends that were present.

I had a great day riding and was reminded how fun track days really are. I wasn't nearly as fast as I used to be but that didn't matter. I had great time and reminisced about all the laps that I had done around Thunderhill working with Eric and all the fun we had there.

Thank you everyone, especially Lance and Linda, for the great experience!

Hi Danielle

You did extremely well out there and I'm glad that you got to experience a little of what our schools are like. Eric was always a fantastic instructor with the new and the nervous ;-) so it was fitting on his benefit day that you got to experience the track for the first time and start the addiction.

+1 to everything everyone said... Fabulous day. Spent a lot of money but it was nice to know most of it went to an awesome cause!

Thank you for putting this on, Lance and Linda. Also, thank you to all the others who donated to the raffle or came out to help with the raffle, instructing, two-ups, etc :thumbup

Scott, it was great seeing you at the track again after so many years... Bess and Michael, it was great riding with you at the track for the second time this year... Kenny, it was cool seeing you ride Stanton's R1... and all the other cool stuff about the day!!

Eric, we're looking forward to seeing you soon.

Kathy

I too would like to thank everyone for this event, it was totally awsome. Props to Lance and Linda they are always a class act. Now that I think about it, the only thing missing was a great big group photo of everyone there. Then we all could of signed it and gave it to Eric, that would of been way cool.

I was so bummed not to be able to make it! I'm sorry that we weren't able to attend and film.

I was taken out by a car on my way to Thunderhill...I had full leathers on because I was headed to help Eric - so, again - THANK YOU ERIC...you've changed my life in a few ways and we've never even met. I wouldn't have had full leathers on if it wasn't for Eric's event and the leathers saved my leg from being ripped off.

I'm happy to hear it was such a good day, get stronger every day Eric!

dude.... sorry to hear about your accident... glad you're ok enough to post on the interwebz. hope your injuries aren't too serious.

Ouch! When Lance mentioned the videographer was in an accident I assumed it was auto/auto. Didn't realize you were on two wheels!

Heal fast!
