Tire gurus come on in (I have a question)

I really really like the 60. I believe you made a prudent move.

Now that I know I have it, I’d like to give the tc a shot. Any suggestions on setting? I’m not really sure how invasive it is, the only experience I’ve had with things like this was the abs on my 2012 m796....which wasn’t all that good.

:thumbupOrdered 180/60 supercorsas through jakewilson.com $342 shipped.

Does it have a re-calibration mode for different size tires, when I went from 180 to a 190 on a Caponord it was a simple process to reset the traction control.

^^^ This.

I'd check with your local Ducati dealership and ask if they are capable of re-calibrating the PCM to accommodate different tire sizes. I have a 2007 KTM with this option in the PCM system menu, so i can't imagine that a 2014 bike wouldn't have it.

If you don't have that option (for whatever reason) then you'd be fine with the TC turned off, just as others have said. The only other issues you might come across would be a slight discrepancy in your mileage display and MPH display.

I had the same bike and experienced different tire sizes over its lifetime. I was most comfy with the 180/60 or 190/55. The 180/55 took a lot more effort to initiate a turn compared to the others. I rarely ran DTC so that was never an issue.

Went with a 180/60 supercorsa, got them mounted today, so far I’m a fan

Sorry for the tardy... but I have never turned it on. When I get caught in the rain, I am overly cautious so I have never really had a need for it. I know the times when I should not wring the throttle. Its not like the bike has 200 HP.

From my experience the 180/60 in supercorsa is a freaking monster height-wise. Taller than a 190/55 (supercorsa and anything else I have tried).
