Looking for a small rechargeable tire compressor to carry on the bike. What have you got?
 
One that broke really fast. Used it 3X and now it's a backup portable power source. Get a brand name with a decent warranty. There was a thread here IIRC. People said the Slime brand was good.
 
NOCO Air10 for me. If a sport bike, it's not what I would call compact, but if you have a need for air on the road, then it's pretty good. To be honest, I don't use mine on the road, rather at the track to make minor pressure adjustments.
 
You sure you want rechargeable? I bought a 12v version for moto travel so I don't have to worry about a dead battery on it.
I have a rechargeable in my van, it's got a big heavy battery
 
I prefer one that runs on the bike battery. And if you are worried, you can run the engine as you inflate.
 
I carry a Slime Jr. small and simple. I also want one that will plug into the bikes electrical system. MAKE SURE YOU TEST WHAT EVER YOU GET.

IF you have a BMW or other european bike that uses a powerlet style plug make sure you have an adapter. I also carry a C02 system but I did find it would not fit the rear of my K1600 when I needed it. It will fit my S1000XR so added it to the kit. Note you do need multiple cylinders to get a tire inflated.

 
I got a flat the other day on my way home from work. I was able to plug the rather large hole with my basic automotive tire plug kit and used my Lezyne MTB hand pump to get the tire up to about 20psi - then limped to the nearest gas station for a full recharge of the tire...

I was already imagining a long journey home and the need to abandon my bike to come back and retrieve it, due to this flat tire (downside to having a rather heavy/big ADV - I guess!)...
I feel I barely avoided having to do so!

+1 for the Fantik. I have both the mini and the x8; both are fantastic. The main difference between them is battery size and hence run time. They are completely self contained, set pressure and go style inflators. No need to attach them to an external power source. You do need to keep them charged though. I use them for all my vehicles (they come with presta adaptors for bikes).
 
Slime Powersport on the R1100GS.

On the DR350/WR250F, I looked into a rechargeable pump and instead opted to carry a Topeak Mountain Morph hand pump which has a nice unfolding handle and a little foot which pops out to let you stand on part of it to keep it from moving. Can inflate a 21" front in about 90 seconds and that's plenty enough for me. Rechargeable was a little heavier / larger than I wanted and wouldn't necessarily guarantee multiple inflations. Some of the MTB pumps are quite good these days and will move high volume at lower pressures, which are totally adequate for moto use.
 
Always get a pump that takes power from the bike’s battery. A rechargeable pump will inevitably fail you. Besides requiring constant maintenance.

Rechargeables and CO2 systems suck because what happens when your first plug or patch fails and you run out of CO2 cartridges or a charge on the pump.
