Its not about the money, most Harley's with straight pipes are annoying. Its about the wonderful sound that the Desmo makes.

And to some of us, it's just as fucking annoying. Since when did social graces such as being polite towards and considerate of others fall to the wayside??? People wonder why the world is so much more stressful to live in nowadays... maybe because some people are just rude as hell?? You want to listen to the "wonderful sound", take it to the track and wind it out on the front straight. Or better yet, through the corners. THEN it'll be impressive.

Personally, I think the Desmosedici is the Best Sounding Bike Ever..... If I am eating Breakfast at a Restaurant renowned for its Motorcycle Cliental, Im certainly not going to Bitch about the noise, This has got to be the Stupidest thread I've ever come across, is your life so boring that you need to come on the net & complain about loud noises.... Really?? If you want to point out loud bikes, start pointing the finger at the HD crowd, Loud for the sake of being noticed, of course they would probably get off on a thread like this....

I enjoy hearing the sound of a well-tuned sportbike with aftermarket pipes being ridden hard. Listening to some inconsiderate dood revving his bike for the sake of being loud and noticed is annoying and retarded. There's a hell of a difference between a bike being ridden as it was designed to, and being ridden by someone saying "LOOK AT ME!!!!!!! I'M ON A DUCATI!!!!!!!"

Great. He can be as fast as Rossi- and it doesn't absolve him of the niceties of social graces. If everyone showed a little more consideration out in meat space, the world would be a much nicer place for ALL of us to live in.
