Does anyone know where to get replacement toe sliders for Oxtar boots. And/or will the TXC pieces fit? If so, where can I get those?

Thanks in advance for you assistance. :teeth

58 views and no replies.... :cry I need some bad, I drug through the left one :(

If you can't find replacements before R2, come find me (in SJ on most weekends, and SC during the week) and I'll be happy to swap mine with yours.

One of mine just has some rubber imprints from having a car run over it, but should be plenty slide-able should you be grinding your toes ;)

Oh.. and the left one has no tire marks, if that's all that you need. I have like 2 small scrapes from touching my toes down on T2 at T-hill, but from the sounds of it, it's much better off than what you've done to yours :laughing

Thanks guys for the responses. Riddler, good suggestion and Stormdragon, don't think I haven't thought about it. It may come down to doing what you are talking about and/or something very similar.

Thanks Solomon! :) I will only contact you as a last resort. T2 at Thill did mine in as well. Because of my ankle, I couldn't get it more inboard without discomfort, and now my toe piece is almost in 2 separate pieces. :wtf

Thinking on it, and if you can't find ready-made, it'd probably be easiest to cut and drill a couple pieces of metal, and grind to shape. But if you decide to make a mold positive, I know a couple who could pour. :party

Just let me know if you don't get replacements in time. We wouldn't want to start you off on a bad foot - horrible pun intended :p

Nice find, Mike :thumbup

Liquid steel or JB Weld if you need them now!!!! Should mold right in there and hold till you get replacement sldiers.

I also was in contact with TCX regarding my boots and the lady who helped me on the phone was very responsive and may even "hook me up" with replacement parts. Wonder if I should try and get a set or two of boots while I am at it? :D
