I got a D&D pipe and its too loud and i dont got my L's do they sell a silencer for this ?

If you don't like the way it sounds then I would recommend taking it back and getting another one.

If it's used, maybe the PO took the packing out, so you might want to check that.

They don't sell a silencer.
D&D are crap and always way to loud.
Try to return it.

Maybe you should get your license while your at it?

bah :hand that requires learning how to ride.

and anyway...when was the last time you saw bikers at a starbucks comparing licenses? im sticking to an aftermarket exhaust. :x

D&D are known for being very loud. Maybe a little more research before purchase. There is nothing you can do to that pipe to make it quiter except taking it off and yellin in it.

the pipe came with the bike , i just bought it last week ....lol i'll be getting my L's soon
I was riding the other day and rode by some cops going like 25 they looked at me cause it sound like i was going 45 good thing they had someone pulled over !

L's=license?

yes L's = license and if they dont have that it's almost a dead giveaway they dont have insurance either, or registration for that matter. hell who needs any of that stuff anyways:rolleyes

way to confused...
no idea if the OP has no motorcycle license, or no motorcycle license PLATE, or what.

I'd say just shove a coupla packs of cotton balls (unopened so they are easier to get out later) into your exhaust. That should keep it DAMN quiet until you get your "L's".
(should be done after warm up)

wait, is this the mysterious person that was a long time harley rider that needed to rent a scooter to do the DMV circle?!?!

D&D's are indeed very loud. I tried a pair on my ST and it made it sound like a full on factory race RC45. Fun at first but in very short order, way too loud. I went back to the stock cans pretty fast. Fortunately, I had an idea they'd be too loud and I bought them used and sold them used.

Does the seller have the original cans?

i dont think he does , when i bought it had the 05 sticker on the plates so i dont think he has it he didnt even ride it
