I have no doubt about the Toyota's engine, but I'm a bit curious about your rear suspension there.
The Top Gear one was the diesel version of the Toyota pickup.
Driven 'carelessly' hitting everything on its way... stone walls, concrete poles, etc.
Anchored on a pier, wire snapped, rolled into the water, stayed there overnight until the tide went down. Turned over, cleaned up, sprayed some diesel, jump started.
Hit by the demolition ball from the side (no idea what to call that thing).
Parked on top of an 11-story cheap apartment building about to be demolished. Went down with the building, cleaned, sprayed some diesel, started up on its own battery.
It rolled into the Top Gear studio on its own, chassis broken right in the middle, the body actually held the truck together.
They started airing Top Gear on Discovery Channel now, aired that episode a couple weeks ago.
