I’m trying to think if I ever owned a Yamaha and I’m pretty sure I haven’t, however, I love old bikes and vintage gear (not always necessarily to ride in). Been looking at vintage motorcycle jackets and riding suits on eBay and found this gem to wear fashionably and did an impulse buy. I would like to see if anybody has an idea of the time period.

It is an actual “Yamaha” brand leather jacket with sewn in quilting; made in Korea. No other branding is found.

Buttons have the Yamaha logo.

There is light padding on the elbows, but that’s it in terms of “armor” :laughing

It’s has a delightful cigarette pack pocket on the left arm. Kinda of a cop jacket, bomber feel. I really love it.

Anyway, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

From the sleeve pocket I’m guessing it’s from back when cigarettes were Kool like the jacket.

That is a very old school cool jacket! I've personally have never seen that jacket but would agree fully that it would be suitable on the mighty Vmax :teeth!
