Deadly back-to-back earthquakes strike Venezuela
Back-to-back earthquakes: A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Venezuela’s northern coast just 40 seconds after a 7.2 magnitude foreshock rocked the area. The quakes caused homes and buildings to collapse in the capital, Caracas, and widespread destruction in the region, with the US Geological Survey warning of “high casualties.”
I don't recall ever hearing of 2 such large quakes happening on the same day like that.

Redwood valley with a 5.7. We got the warning, our Upper Lake neighbors say the earthquake hit as they were reading the alert.

I track them (anything over 5.0) and it’s interesting how they relate on a global scale. Sadly, Venezuela event tracks with the Redwood Valley event.

Bigger Picture,

The Pacific Ring of Fire has been disturbed,
This will probably get bigger, not smaller, and quit.

Lava proof fallout shelters ?
The Atlantic is growing and the Pacific is shrinking. Scary times!
The dogs have been very anxious this week.

In 1992, Humboldt had 3 large ones in a 24 hour period.
7.2, 6.5 and 6.5.
The Ring of Fire is active.

I looked it up, out of curiosity.
