Typical Airsoft players

I play paintball with some friends who were marines and we definitely do a better job when we stick with squad tactics and good fire and movemnt.

Though they tell me there are serious diffrerences of course, like you cant blow up cover like a beer can in pb or reliably shoot through concealment like bushes as yiu could with real weapons.

Still its way more fun and effective to do it with organized tactics then a mad rush.

Hey grunz, Hayward, and Alameda county Swat officers thought the same thing. Tactics only get you so far.

Holy shit....did I really stumble into a thread where people are arguing about what is "cooler" paintball or Airsoft????

:nerd :nerd :nerd :nerd & some more :nerd :nerd :nerd :nerd :nerd

Go ride your motorcycles and don't tell anyone that I love video games:teeth

not that I don't obsess over riding, but paintball provides more adrenaline per dollar.

You guys (non-players) would be amazed at how accurate pro-players can shoot and read your movements despite how much paint they throw.

As competent as you are as a solider those tactics wouldnt work on a modern day paintball field.

They do that stuff at the Park on Almar St. and at the Frederick St park.

They use to do it on the two story parking garage downtown on Thursday nights.
We would go down to dollar night at the CAT, and then watch em while we was all lLiquor'd up!

At Garfield Park? :laughing I live about 4 blocks away.

Fredrick St. park used to be a very respectable 2-on-2 hardcore b-ball court. Times have changed.

Was a Marine grunt in the late '80s. Took my squad to the Paintball place and slaughtered everybody with solid squad tactics. By the end of the day, shooting a Jarhead was a trophy. Some of those bitches were whinning at the lunch break and wanted to divide us up.

I dont know about that but I had a paintball team in the late 80's & early 90's and when we played 11 bravo or 0800 (grunt-infantry) Military units we always kicked their ass. We also played LEO's too with the same result.

I think the thing about us winning back then is that we considered paintball a form of highspeed tag rather than tactical movement. Im not saying we didn't use tactics but not all military/Law enforcement movement tactics translate to the paintball field. The big thing you have to worry about that you dont have to worry about in the PB field is getting dead so that makes a huge difference.

Now before the Mil/LE peeps jump down my throat with responses lemmie just say I spent time with you guys too.
