Tyson Fight -- Anyone got a torrent?

Tyson lost. His boxing career is most likely over.
 
He fookin' lost?! I heard on the raido before the fight that the guy who fought him was a nobody and they only paid him 150k, where Mikey cleared 2.5 million. Guess it makes sense from a marketing standpoint but holy crap that just seems wrong, esp if he beat Mike's butt.
 
Mike will keep fighting as long as he can make money. He's broke.

Why is boxing opposite of other sporting events? Generally the WINNER gets the biggest prize, not the loser. Why dont they fight for the money instead of just show up for it?

Probably for the same reason that AJ Foyt and various other fading stars of Indy got spots on the grid even when they could no longer qualify: Marquee value. The shmuck who beat Tyson couldn't draw flies by himself. Tyson IS the show, or at least . . . . has been. . .

The plight of Mike Tyson is sad. Here's a guy who was incredibly talented, but needed *special* attention due to his mental state (I believe he does have a chemical inbalance). Under his old trainer, he was great: he was semi stabilized and controlled and guided. However, after his adopted father passed away, in came the sharks to cash in on his notoriety i.e. Don King.

Years of exploitation and misguidance with a total disregard for Mike Tyson's mental state, these assholes made a crap load of money. Of course, Mike did too, but again was not guided and or advised what to do with the money.

Now you see a once boxing great: broke, washed-up, not mentally stable... and promoters and gangsters with fat pockets.

So sad for the man :(

He was trying everything from head butting to elbowsto holding Mcbrides arms. I think he mentioned something about needed to pay his bills.

I hope you guys cashed in because the word on the street was to bet McBride to win it!!!! I wonder if they're going to do some investigation on this...Tyson just called it quit in the middle of the game LOL. He probably got some of his buddies to bet against him so he can pay his bills LOL.
