Was that train headed north or south?

Interesting as I'd venture a guess those were not likely headed for the Middle Eastern theatre.

It's the new line of Tonka trucks & tanks headed to Walmart:laughing

They're probably coming from Ft. Hunter-Liggett. If they're going south, they are probably headed for the national training center near Barstow. If north, then maybe joint base McChord. I don't think the army has much north of the bay area on the west coast.

that video is going around on the internet...

suppose to be heading south..:dunno

FMC hasn't made Bradleys in Santa Clara, San Jose, or anywhere else for a long time have they? No guns; maybe they are being shipped out of California to get guns.

WOW!! amazing footage. I have family in the military and it feels so great to have them back. Imagine, each one of those tanks and trucks was the home for atleast 4 soldiers, times that by how many went by on the train... Makes you greatfull that atleast we have them home. Christmas was the best this year, finally having them home! Thanks for the post OP, made me humble and reminds me of the great sacrifice each US military soldier makes for us to be free. God praise you all and welcome home! :flag:banana

That's gotta be one tough train to pull such a long conga line....

Ah the good old days. We rolled three a day off the line per shift for 11 years. (Along with all the m113s, 577s, MLRS..and all the good stuff we did back then.)

....and I thought those circus trains were crazy....
