Uber riders don't seem to want to tip the driver

Yeah, that shit sometimes backfires. I tried that with an attractive girl that I knew from a local restaurant a couple years back. She was a drunk mess and upset about a boyfriend breakup. She was drunk, like needing to go to jail drunk. So I tried to take her up the street to her family's house, only they refused to take her in. Then she ran from me. At that point, there'd be liability if I just let run off. I had to chase her and then she further resisted arrest.

One of those "no good deed goes unpunished" moments. I've had a number of such moments throughout my career.

Yeah, I reckon the world around here just isn't small enough for that anymore.

powerwise? Nothing... those engines are fucking GUTLESS.

Totally disagree. The ECU's are different in a police edition vehicle but the most noticeable upgrades are in the suspension. Chubby sway bars with neoprene bushings and stuff.
Off topic: When I was a dealer tech one of our favorite ways to break in a newbie was to tell him we had a rattle in the rear and needed his ears to pinpoint it. We'd get him to hop in the back seat then we'd go park the car in the back lot for a while. Good times. :laughing

Everyone I know as a friend with real money tips well.

I’m tellin’ you... legit rich fucks did not tip AT ALL. Most people would tip and I’d say solid middle class/slightly upper middle class would tip the best. People who had to struggle a bit at some point but made good money. Blue blood types... zilch. Pretty much universally.

There were a couple rich fuck regulars who never ever tipped who I got to the point I’d deliver their shit dead fucking last. I’m gonna grab a stack of 10 odd pies and these motherfuckers are going to be right at the 45 minute mark. I gonna give you a reason to not tip, bitch.

I was referring more to people who work for a living and make good high 6 figure money, but I dated one of the heiresses to the Rubbermade fortune for about a year. She took tipping very seriously and never worked a day in her life. Her parents were the same, her Mom was the money, and she was an Artist. Also never worked a day. Also seriously believed in nice tips for wait staff and similar, "help."

Her Grandmother, who held most of the trust money, lived on the floor she owned of a high rise full of rich people on Green Street, overlooking North Beach from the top of a hill. I never saw her outside of her fancy home, but she tipped the elevator guy for bringing up packages and tipped the caterer pretty well from what I could tell at a couple of events I went to at her place.

Honestly though, the way those people lived, I don't think any of them would even know how to call a place and order a pizza. Like, they would probably call someone that owned an Italian restaurant that they liked and have them handle it.

:dunno
