no doubt it was great mechanically I just never liked the body style of sportbikes from the 80s. that double round headlight and overall boxy shape isyoure kidding the fzr was fucking brilliant

I like my '91 CBR.
ah the color scheme from the early 90s bikes. It looks like they had a good mix of colors on their paint schemes all except for one color. Like on your cbr it would look a lot better if it didn't have that pink stripe it looks out of place. I've always like the body styling of the cbr though.

I'd agree - the F2/early F3 body style was classic - but most of the factory paint schemes were gawd awful, except the red/white scheme.
IMO, they look great with a solid-color repaint...
And +1 on FZ/FZR's and early twin-light Gixxers - love the old school sportbikes.

Yeah, I know. At first I thought meh, I'm gettin rid of it, but the longer I own it, the more I kinda like it. I have named the bike Pinky and am thinking of having the pink stripe re-done, still pink, but saying Pinky instead. *shrug* I dunno. If I ditch it I think it loses its character.

The squids just had to have those dual round headlights back in the day. The FZR600 went to a single squarish light its second year and the squids didn't like it so they went back to dual round.

Someone described the Vision as looking like Bozo the Clown.
I kept an open mind about it until I saw it at the moto show in December. It really does looks like Bozo.
