Yes I moved around a lot as well. Born in and mostly grew up in and around Manchester. Moved 30 miles and 50 years away to Huddersfield (Odder's Velt) in my mid teens (for my US mates, that's like moving from Boston to Fort Worth). Spent time in Derby, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Coventry, Birmingham, Surbiton, London, Belfast, Amsterdam, York, Edinburgh and Flitwick, before moving here in 93.
