I have spent quite a few minutes wandering around the website
trying to figure out how to download a quadrangle for printing. Anyone have experience with the website?
Back in the day it was fun to go to the USGS in Menlo Park, and buy maps. Now they are all available online for free! Allegedly! I want to download the Lassen Peak and Mineral 7.5 minute quadrangles so Staples can print the, but…
I am lost in the software. I keep crossing my previous paths so I might be able to get out…

I too have been caught going in circles with .gov agency sites trying to find useable maps.
Most recently this has been an easy one to get 7.5 min in a georeferenced pdf.

FSTopo Map Products

Click on the "Enter" and when the U.S. map opens up, just zoom in to the quad that you want.
Click within the desired grid and then a popup opens with the link to get your pdf map.

These have been nice to use as an overlay on a GPS device while riding in the woods
