BF4 is pretty fun, if you see it on slickdeals or wherever for less than $50, think about it...
I am into just about any first person shooter type game, and many PC simulation games. Flight simulator is great especially if you play online with the vatsim community. Silent hunter II is a great submarine simulation especially if you get the add on package.

Yeah, been playing it on hard. And its fucking retarded.
Dozens of soldiers hunting you with unlimited ammo... unless you kill them. The guns magically melt.
Clickers that won't see or notice a dumbfuck NPC running into them, but clickers instantly kill you if they get close enough.
Stealth kills that sound like drunken revenge grudge fuck makeup sex, but no one notices.
Headshots with a hunting rifle that can't kill, and pistols that deal less damage than a thrown brick.
Everyone's got a fucking gun, but no one carries a knife. All knives are made of disposable spork plastic.
The whole gameplay system is just absurd and fairly pathetic.

Still playing the late 2012 game Black Ops II, but now that Ghosts is out the BOII servers are mysteriously slower now so I suspect their resources have been diverted to the new game not the old game. 
Had a just-for-fun goal to get my lifetime KDR up to 1.50 on Ops and reached it recently, along with Prestige Master. But now the game is almost unplayable it's so slow, either my internet is wonky or their best servers are dedicated to the new Ghosts.

Interesting. I think BO2 is the better of the two games, but that is interesting (about slow servers).
My Internet test connection says about 10 mb download rate which is about the same average it's been for a long time. A few weeks ago, BO2 became molasses slow for me and it's been that way ever since. At first I thought it was just the Christmas rush but it's not any better now, so slow!
