Going to post this here along with Vintage. Hope who ever I talked with sees this.

I talked to someone at Mt Hamilton about a Suzuki RGB. He said there was a person in Lathrop CA who had 2 of them. I have a friend who has a RGB and would like to talk to the person in Lathrop. My friend needs a carb. I think I was told it was Steve's in Lathrop, but can not find any information.

what? just a 500cc V four two stroke ala formula one from back in the day installed in a modern R6 chassis.

The RZ500 Yamaha was not imported into the US, but was available in Canada. Suzuki made a similar bike, the Gamma RGV 500, I think. Budman raced one in the AFM. I think that was a twin crank square four.

The bike has been an on and off project for many years in between building other two-stroke project bikes. A love-hate relationship as I have mentioned before somewhere here.

It is 1985 RZ500 (Japanese aluminum) frame, engine is Canadian RZ500, with suspension and body parts being 2009 R6.

And about 1000 little brackets and doodads made in my garage and some machining and welding work done by friends. And aftermarket parts like KOSO gauge and other stuff.

It is a very expensive novelty. Still a work in process.

Final tuning still needs to be done, but for now it runs pretty good with only 300 or 400 miles on it.
