but if the owner pays the $250 or whatever, well, then they made their money regardless of who is right or wrong.

has nothing whatsoever to do with the cops. nothing at all. no targeted enforcement, no particular event, nothing. it's just tow truck guys driving around and towing whatever will make them cash. and they make a lot, i might add.

how do i know this? because one of my "friends" is one of these douchebags.

as for this particular instance, again, i don't know. but i have to think it's something similar in the very least.

I once saw one of those wheel shackle immobilizer steel things on a tow truck... I thought that was mildly poetic in its irony.

I did have fun. I drank beer, encouraged the hooligans to ride longer wheelies, and generally had a great time watching others also having a great time. :thumbup:thumbup

The GasGas guy offered to let me ride his bike, but by that time I had a few too many beers downed. Otherwise I would have loved the opportunity.

Hey! You were guy next to the "tee boxes" with the police truck. That weekend was a blast! :thumbup We were out there playing frisbee golf with a young'n named Colin from your camp I believe. Cute kid. We came close to you with our frisbees a few times. Hope to see you out there again next year

Srsly?? That's beautiful!! The Frog Pond/Archery is a swamp with grunting bullfrogs and the drunken snoring humans that imitate them. The hill campgrounds I've seen are gravelly tarmac packed with wide load RV's. I actually saw a fat-assed RV pulling a SAILBOAT out the park on the way home. WTF!!!! Where wur U using the boat dude? That pretty little campsite must be the best-kept secret in Monterey. Next to why anyone eats at Bubba Gumps of course.
